I try to remember to do the little things as often as possible to let him know I am here whenever he wants even when I have vanished to another part of the house to sort the chores I have to do everyday.
Last night for example after relaxing after a hard day I then went and had a good wash and primp, made myself smell nice and when i returned to the bedroom he was sat chilling on the Xbox whilst sat on the bed..I simply stripped out of my pjs and knelt on my elbows and knees to watch what he was doing whilst positioning myself within reach. I was rewarded with his attention in the form of some slaps across the tush and lots of stroking..was more than enough for me :D
Whilst he was upstairs working today I brought him cups of tea and hugs, made his meals and which I served downstairs so he took a needed break away from the screen.
Other instances have been me just simply stroking him reassuring him I am there for whatever use he desires whenever he wants, showing him I do love him in many different ways even though I know I don't say it often enough...I be a bit rubbish with the verbal side of things.
Another thing I do is check his favourite toys and restraints are where he likes them to be after I have tidied :D
He will also let me know of other things I can do which helps....:D
