Ok so today after much research, asking around and getting my nerve in place I went to the beauty salon to have my bikini line and a bit more waxed.
The staff there were very welcoming and I was soon handed a fresh hot coffee which is always a good start. The very nice lady talked over again everything we had covered on the phone and then went into more detail showing me the two waxes she thought most suitable for me as we had already spoken about me having very sensitive skin.
Eventually I was shown to a nice room where I got changed into a disposable thong(so not sexy) and made myself comfy on the quite comfy bed/table thingy.
She came in and tested the wax on her inner arm and satisfied popped a little on mine so i could also feel it was not hot, then she went to work..Her technique was great..nattering about allsorts and everything and keeping my mind off what she was doing.
At first the heat from the wax was quite soothing and the hair coming out was nicer than plucking my eyebrows. I was quite comfortable with her and she kept apologising when i said "ouch" ocasional hairs were stubborn and the heat from the wax eventually got quite uncomfortable.
At the beginning when asked how much I wanted off I did say I would prefer the lot gone but she answered quite honestly that as a first timer she doubted I would be able to stand it for that long but it was up to me to say when to stop..as it was she was correct and I have a nice little strip of hair left which I will trim before my bath in the morning. Next time I go will be in about 4 weeks and it should go even easier than this time which to me went a lot better than I was worried about. I will be going back..not having the hassle of shaving that area is going to be great.
Have to say all in all that whilst not the most enjoyable experience I do love the waxed feel I have now and I am looking forward to Ks appreciation of it this weekend :D I suspect there will be another post or two from then :D
Definately to be recommended go get waxed :D
